Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra’s Brothers got a good opening at the box office on its first and second day. Trade reports say that “Brothers” enjoyed a good occupancy on the First and Second Day. It had somewhere between 40 to 60% occupancy on both the opening days in India. The morning shows and the prime time evening shows did well. This action drama movie have done excellent job on the box office and collected 15.30 Crore on its first day which is a biggest-ever opening for Akshay’s Movies. Akshay Kumar has now registered biggest opening in his career by breaking the record of his previous release Rowdy Rathore (15 Crore), Houseful 2 (14 Crore), Gabbar is Back (13.04 Crore) and Tees Maar Khan (13 Crore). For Sidharth Malhotra also, this is a good achievement as this is the second time that his film has crossed the double-digit on the opening day at the domestic box office. His Movie “Ek Villain” had already raked in 16.25 crore on its First Day.
