Step 1: Download and install DupeGuru

To download the DupeGuru for your system you can directly go to the link of www.hardcoded.net/dupeguru. You should download the software according to your OS i.e. 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows.

Step 2: Select a folder to scan

After installing the software, you will be asked to select the particular folder to scan for to find duplicate data. It will complete the scan quickly so click the + button and select your My Documents folder, then click the Scan button. It will scan complete folder which is selected by you.

Step 3: Check the list of found files

DupeGuru will scan the selected folder which will display a list of files that are identical  according to the content with the ‘original’ file which is highlighted in blue.
