M 7.7 Earthquake in Pakistan on 26 October News:-
A greatness 7.7 tremor hit northeastern Afghanistan on Monday, and was felt several miles away in Pakistan and India.
The temblor struck at around 2:10 p.m. (5:10 a.m. ET). The tremor came days after downpour fell in numerous parts of Afghanistan, making mud-constructed houses more helpless against breakdown.
The USGS said the tremor had a preparatory size of 7.7 and was revolved around 28 miles south-southwest of Jarm, Afghanistan.
In the Afghan capital Kabul, autos ceased in the lanes and shouting inhabitants gushed out of homes, workplaces and schools.
Comparative scenes were accounted for in urban communities incorporating Lahore and Peshawar in neighbouring Pakistan.
In 2005, a magnitude 7.6 quake in Pakistan-administered Kashmir left more than 75,000 people dead.
In April this year, Nepal suffered its worst earthquake on record with 9,000 people killed and about 900,000 homes damaged or destroyed.
NBC News maker Mushtaq Yusufzai was eating with his family in Peshawar when the quake struck.
“There was no was approach to go ground floor so we quickly moved to the housetop,” he said. “It appeared the whole building is going to crumple. Ladies and kids were crying and activity was halted on streets.”
