The rumors that the Badshah of Bollywood and the Dabangg Khan will have a box office clash next year have been confirmed as Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Raees and Salman Khan’s Sultan will be released together on Eid 2016. Ritesh Sidhwani (producer of Raees) has tweeted that Raees will in fact release during Eid 2016 confirming the clash between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The released of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Salman Khan’s Sultan next Eid is being termed as a massive clash. The gossip mills are abuzz with the news of the two films clashing with each other. While Shah Rukh plays a bootlegger in Raees, Salman plays the role of a wrestler based in Haryana in his upcoming film Sultan. According to a report, the much talked about clash of the Khans on Eid next year might be averted. It’s not the first time that a Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees is clashing with another big banner film. SRK’s Dilwale will also see a box office battle with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Bajirao Mastani. The much-hyped clash between the khans depends on how Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale affect each other’s business at the box office when they release on same day 18 December, 2015. Amid speculation about the clash, SRK and Salman are back to their friendship flaunting mode. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen promoting his upcoming film Dilwale on Bigg Boss 9, which is hosted by Salman Khan. They were last seen together on the screen eight years ago, in the title track of Om Shanti Om.

Talking about the clash, Farhan Akhtar also said that this has happened in the past when there have been two big releases on the same day and both of them have done well, so this depends on the audience. Farhan further explained that if a person makes a good film then it will work no matter which film it’s chasing. If Raees and Sultan turn out to be good films, both will do equally well at the box office.

Raees will be the first time when Shah Rukh Khan and Nnawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen sharing screen space together. Shah Rukh Khan is played the lead role who is a cruel and clever bootlegger in the movie Raees and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing the role of DCP Ghulam Patel who is confronted and dissatisfied of ShahRukh’s Business in the movie. On the other hand, sultan is an upcoming Indian sports drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Adiya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films.
