The paper pattern  of TN SET  examination is as follows: The examination paper consists of  3 Papers i.e. Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. The Paper I (mandatory) contains 60 questions of 100 marks and the time duration is 75 minutes. Paper II contains 50 questions of 50 marks and time duration is 75 minutes. Last Paper 3 contains 75 questions of 150 marks with time  duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. Paper 2 and paper 3 is based on optional subjects.
