The story of the man is one of strong soul and immeasurable love. Manjhi’s wife Paghuniya had died when she had slipped from the mountain on her way to get him food. Manjhi had been unable to get his wife medical help because the nearest doctor was seventy kilometer away and the path was extremely unfaithful.
