On August 11, 2015, the much awaited OnePlus 2 will be launched in many parts of world, including India. The Chinese Phone OnePlus 2 has been priced 22,999 Rs. Onwards. OnePlus 2 launches in India:-

This Chinese smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD In-Cell display, full HD (1920x1080p). Users can save up to five fingerprints on the phone, it has a hardware button that houses a fingerprint scanner. And company also says it is faster than IPhone’s Touch Id.

OnePlus 2 Features/ Configuration:

OnePlus 2 is based on the latest Android version Lollipop 5.1 (runs on Oxygen OS). It is the first device to ship with OnePlus’ own operating system out of the box. The OnePlus 2 is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, which is the fastest processor. The phone is backed with 3,300mAh that is approximately 10% bigger than the 3,100mAh battery of the original model.

OnePlus 2 sports a 13MP rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, Optical Image Stabilization system, Dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and laser Auto-Focus,; on the front is a 5MP selfie camera.

OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei said, “With the OnePlus 2, we’re making a bet on the future, and doubling down on a holistic product experience,”.

The OnePlus has launched a Video Teaser as well.

OnePlus 2 comes up with a reversible USB Type-C connector. USB Type-C cable is that it’s backwards compatible, so users don’t need to check which side of the connector is up while inserting it. The Type-C port on the OnePlus 2 could allow file transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps.

It also means that standard USB accessories will not work with this smartphone. But there has been some plans by the company as well, OnePlus is also selling a USB Type C-to-microUSB adapter cable.

On the connectivity front, OnePlus 2 supports 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. The phone will give you some options as well, apart from Classic Sandstone Black back cover, One Plus 2 will also have option of StyleSwap covers namely, Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood and Kevlar.

OnePlus 2 Price:

The company plans to offer a price drop for the OnePlus One. OnePlus 2, 16GB is priced at Rs 18,998 whereas the 64GB variant is priced at Rs 21,998, both selling via Flipkart.

Agarwal revealed OnePlus currently has 50 services centres in India. “We have tied up with three service partners. Pickup and Drop facility in selected cities is also made available. There is a centralized contact centre where all the issues are updated from different regions for real-time content sharing. Any issues are being closed in three to five days, which we plan to bring down to one to three days”, when asked about the Service centres.
